i've come to realize....

ive realized that having kids makes it impossible to do the things that other 22/23 year olds do... or 20s people in general i suppose.. going out, hanging out with friends, getting coffe, parties.. that whole thing... i enjoy bars and what not, but not to drink, just to get out of the house... now with full custody i dont even get a chance to do that ever... no money for babysitters etc... my way of escape is through books and thankfully the books ive been reading lately are of good enough authors that i can really escape into the book... robert jordan does keep sucking me in but augusten burroughs, christopher moore, j.d. salinger etc so a fantastic job as well... i remember venting a little bit ago crying out "well if reading is the only escape i will ever get then i am going to go inside and read my freaking book!" it had a negative tone to it but i really did love going inside and forgetting that i was even upset in the first place because all i wanted was for rand to get to toman head hahaha... anyway, i like my escape ^_^
