'Whipping Girl' by Aishling Morgan

More nunsploitation goodness! Lalage Vergelesses is sent to the convent of St. Quay by her family and there she is subjected to constant punishments and humiliation at the hands of the elder nuns. She also seeks refuge and satisfaction in the arms of the other novices and discovers sinister secrets about the convent.

This one is absolutely filthy and I mean that literally. In addition to the naughty nun on nun action, which is great, Morgan, who's married to fellow Nexus author Penny Birch, serves up a catalogue of depravity and leaves no taboo unbroken. The author especially seems to love scenes of humiliation and degradation. I can't even begin to describe some of the stuff in this book. He says on his Amazon page this this is one of his "strongest" works and I wouldn't argue that point at all. This guy has to have the filthiest mind since De Sade, which is probably the highest compliment I could pay him. I would recommend this only to fans of the extreme and who have strong stomachs.

'The Indiscretions of Isabelle' by Penny Birch

Isabelle Colraine is back! Now in her second year at OXford, she's hot on the trail of a rumoured secret society of female CP enthusiasts that go by the name 'the Rattaners'. Isabelle and her two sapphic buddies, Jasmine and Caroline, are out to discover if they exist and to join them at all costs. She also meets several new playmates along the way, including 2 older, female dominas.

Another winner from Penny Birch. I love this character and her sexual misadventures and I'm looking forward to reading her third which is in my TBR pile(the first is post #23). The situations that she puts these characters in are sometimes funny but always erotic. This one is just good, dirty fun and I highly recommend it. First published by Nexus in 2004.

'Undressing the Devil' by Angel Strand

Set against the backdrop of tumultuous 1930's Europe, this is the story of Cia Finnemore, an Anglo-Italian young lady who has traveled to Italy with her rich friend and employer, Dianna, who after finding out that Cia slept with her son(and has been making trouble with a local lord who she claims is her father), promptly fires her and gives her the boot. She get sidetracked on the way back to England with an Italian expatriate in Switzerland who writes anti Mussolini tracts. Of course she falls in love and of course the Black Shirts come for him and they end tragically. She flees back to England broke and lovesick but is soon putting the moves on a rich childhood friend. All the while her half sister Angelina, in Florence, has sent a hitman after her since her father died and changed his will to let Cia inherit everything. Oh and Dianna has a torrid fling with a young artist.

Whew! This one packed in more plot than any other Black Lace book I've read. Strand could give Ken Follett a run for his money with this one. There are a lot of characters and intrigue and not a lot of time for smut, but what there is of it is tastefully hot. I'm a sucker for period settings so I'm gonna recommend this one to readers who like their smut on the light side and in historical settings. This was first published in '96 under the title, The Big Class.

'Thai Honey' by Kit McCann(Yolanda Celbridge)

Mitch Barnett, an English CP enthusiast, takes the high road to Thailand after catching his wife with his business competitor. But he has ulterior motives, as he has fallen head over heels in lust with Nampoong, a Thai masseuse who's headed back home after a short time in swinging London. What follows is a tour of Thai sleaze, especially the area of Pattya, as he hunts for his lost love.

I like my smut with exotic locations, which, for me, is basically anywhere outside the U.S., so I loved this one. Celbridge, one of Nexus' more popular authors, lays on the kink in this one with some heady prose to top it off. I also enjoyed the educational side of this book, learning some Thai words for kinky stuff. If you like your kink in humid, tropical locations, this is the book for you. Published in 2006 by Nexus. Highly recommended.

'Forbidden Fruit' by Susie Raymond

Late 30's divorcee Beth Bradley discovers her inner sex goddess when she learns that her teenage coworker, Jonathan, has been spying on her when she changes her clothes. What starts as anger turns to temptation and thus begins their taboo affair.

This one is one of Black Lace's most popular titles and it lives up to its reputation. Instead of getting down to business, Raymond slowly and methodically builds the sexual and emotional tension between the characters so that the reader is more than ready for the big scene. Beth's character goes through the most change as she awakens to her femininity and sees herself as a new person who embraces her sexuality. Jonathan is your basic teen male getting to live out a fantasy, unknowingly kickstarting his older lovers libido. Oh and the sex scenes are damn good too, being very descriptive. One of Black Lace's best, first published in 1998, reprinted in 2001. Highly recommended!

I'm gonna let you choose the next one. Out of the following 3 titles which one should I read?

Drama by Michael Hemmingson
Transfer Point Nice by P.N. Dedeaux(your fave author! )
Over the Knee by Fiona Locke

No pressure or nothing, but the fate of the world is in your hands. Please choose wisely.

I think I choose "Drama." I'll PM you later about why I'm not interested in the Dedeaux one... What I liked about Drama was, "destroy whoever gets in her way including herself." Sounds interesting.

Thanks! Hope you enjoy it!

'Drama' by Michael Hemmingson

Jonathan Morley is a playwright who enters into an affair with Kristine, the director of his latest play. Soon they are living together until Karen Dodge enters the picture, an actress with a sexually voracious appetite, she quickly puts an end to Jonathan and Kristine's relationship and drags everyone with her on her downward spiral of personal destruction.

Hemmingson doesn't cover any new ground with this one and after having read several of his books, this one just seems a little too by-the-numbers. His great dialogue is in it and so is his trademark transgressive, over the top sex but I've read it all before in his other works. It really doesn't help that the last third of the book is a play written by the lead character. Ugh. Put out by Blue Moon Books in 2002. Avoid.
