| finally I got a cheap copy from amazon. just finished the book. it's awesome. if you are a traveler, you'll feel like a travel novice. if you are not, this is a great book to learn about the hippy trail in the 70s: istanbul to katmandu. great travel read!

| Does it read like literature or some burnout's diary? Sounds like a fun trip, but I can't imagine doing it now without losing my head.
