I am excited to read anything by Chuck Palahniuk. His newer books are not quite as good as his older ones in my opinion, but I still enjoy them. I enjoy his style, his characters, and his gross humor.
WOW 1985viv...you have some great insight on Ellison's books. I have read a few of his other books, including "Less than Zero" and the male characters do seem "zombie like". That holden caulfield comparison was great too. It does seem very true the more that I thik aboout it.
You might enjoy other books by Bret Easton Ellis if you liked American Psycho. I liked Less than Zero and The Informers. Catch 22 is a good one too. It is the funniest book I've read.

I saw the film and I thought it was interesting. I want to go to the other countries mentioned in the film and ask people if their health care is really as great as Moore portrays it. Overall, I thought it was very interesting.
When I can find the time away from school, I go running. I was on the track and cross country team in high school and after I graduated, I stuck with it. I enjoy it. It's a good work out and I think it's a stress reliever.
