i know some great sci-fi and fantasy books but they're for children/teens. Cornelia Funke's books are wonderful, and i loved the book I, Coriander by Sally Gardner. Eva Ibbotson's books are very good too. and you should also read Bella at Midnight. i just love fantasy books!
the books that make me cry all have epilogues that go many years into the future. epilogues like that make me so sad, i don't know why. Beyond the Burning Time made me cry, and so did Snowfall. i can't remember any others right now, i have such a bad memory.
