Seven Months from now ... NaNo

I know November is still months away ...

Does anyone here participate in NaNoWriMo? (National Novel Writing Month)
I've participated several years, but haven't in the last few. I am thinking of doing it this year and wondered if others would like to give it a try.

Just wondering.

Once did, several years ago. Did my 50,000 words, rcvd my diploma. It was a tough go, and impacted my every day for a month.
Tried again last year, stalled, no luck.
Will pass up this year.
Good luck to you. :)

I participated this last year. My English instructor roped me into helping the students and to take the pledge. We had two and a half hour writing "cram" sessions complete with chips, dip, and soda. I think that fueled a lot of the writing, at least for the students. I did obtain my 50,000 word goal. I haven't touched it since, continuing on with my specialist classes has put a dent into the time. For now, I'll keep it on the shelf and think of some polishing up during a rainy day. :)

That is wonderful! When you do get around to taking it from the shelf you will be able to look at it with fresh eyes. It may turn out to be diamond in the rough!

Thanks for the encouragement Forest, but I'm a realist at heart. It would be kind if cool if we did NaNoWriMo on the forum!:devillook
