Kinda. I went to the beach. I dug up clams. But I didn't go to the beach to dig up clams.

Best/worst/weirdest thing you've found washed up on shore.
 
Best: a large fossilized shark tooth or shark egg sack
Worst: large (and I mean HUGE) sea turtle that was killed by a boat.
Weirdest: sonobuoy

Same.
 
Fossilized shark tooth, excellent

Best: Sea glass
Worst: Dead Horseshoe crabs
Weirdest: A sneaker

Best, a live flatfish which I returned to the sea.

Worst, a tampon, as I later found out Nairn Beach had a sewage outflow.

Again.
 
Best: An empty clam shell that was still hinged together
Worst: A drowned feral dog. (It didn't actually wash up on shore. It was stuck in the eddy currents.)
Weirdest: Underpants

Eating outdoors: yay or nay?
 
One on one? Toruk. Air power will always trump land forces unless the numbers on the ground are overwhelming.

Would you go see the Avatar sequel?
 
I'll watch it on cable I won't spend the ridiculous amount of money they won't for a ticket.
