Book Recommendations Please

Hi everyone,

I have just started to read again and I'm looking for books that would interest me.
I have recently read The Wild Girl and Bitter Greens by Kate Forsyth, recommended to me by a work friend and absolutely loved them although now I have no idea what to read next.
I'm interested in Historical fiction, adult fiction and folklore, books don't necessarily have to have a happy ended and I love a good mystery.

Please if anyone knows anything similar I would really appreciate it

I had a quick look at the reviews, I think I'll give it a go

"game of thrones" by grr martin if you like epic fantasy,"Anna dressed in blood" is a good ya fantasy. "legend" for sci fi dystopian fans." A walk to remember " is a good contemporary romantic novel.

Gone girl!!

I would recommend "The Book Thief" and "World without End"

"the name of the wind" by Patrick rothfuss. It Is a good fantasy book and work very intelligent protagonist

If you like historical fiction and mystery, I suggest any of the Matthew Shardlake novels by C.J Sansom (Dissolution is the first).

Set during the reign of Henry VIII, they are brilliant and highly recommended.
