Finished Mr.B. Gone yesterday. It's a quick and enjoyable read. I now have it for sale on Preloved for £1:03 if anyone is having trouble getting hold of a copy.
The humour shines through the horror and it is not actually as horrible as I was expecting.

Finished the Block novel, it was stylish, witty and very very entertaining, best novel I've read in quite some time, thoroughly recommended.

My February 2015 book of the month is the amazing Robert Heinlein's - The Door way Into Summer.
I actually read it yesterday in two sittings, as it's not overlong.

I love Time Travel novels and Heinlein finds two; rather than one way to acheive it, heartily recommended.

You are a very avid reader. Is this an amount of 6 books in a week or so? I just finished gone girl and went to watch the film in theaters. Disappointing.but interesting journey through the authors literature. (I don't know if I would go as far as saying literature, but her creative story telling). I'm thinking I will wait for December book of the month.

I enjoyed the book Gone Girl very much. I was determined to read it before trying the film, especially as Aflick does not convince me usually.
I did the same thing with Hunger Games and found the lead actress too heavy and too plain. The book is first class.
I have also read Divergence, but not yet seen the film.

Just finished Campbells - Dauntless.
His grammar is woeful and the book shifts from the first to the third person narrative inside a paragraph.
Not only that but two conversations are conducted on the same line.
Very very poorly written, he is lucky to have made it in print
verdict - avoid.

Just sacked Goldings - The Inheritors !
There's a reason why 'Lord of the Flies' is the only book by him that is well known.
The Inheritors is dreadfully dull and I could not stick with it.

Starting Excalibur right now, looking forward to it. I've never read anything by this author that has disappointed me, so 771 pages to go!!!!
