Cookbooks! 20 questions

Recently i purchased a whole heap of second hand cookbooks (which i am still waiting to arrive and am very excited about receiving!) dating from the 1970s to 2012. Cookbooks are so informative (and food is such a central part of our daily lives) yet i feel like cookbooks are often somewhat ignored as not being "real books" (because they don't (at first glance) tell a story etc).

So here is to all you cookbook fans some questions :) (feel free not to answer them all as i know there are a lot)!

1. Do you own many cookbooks?
2. Are your cookbooks old or modern (or both)?
3. Do you cook much?
4. When was the last time you bought a cookbook?
5. Would you like to own more cookbooks in your collection?

6. Has buying a cookbook ever changed your diet, lifestyle or general outlook in life?
7. Are you interested in traditional countries cooking and the culture that surrounds their food?
8. What countries food do you enjoy the most?
9. Do you own any cookbooks themed on the countries food that you like?
10. Do you enjoy looking at the art/photography of food and cooking etc?

11. Do you own any celebrity cookbooks?
12. Do you think it is important for people to do more home cooking in society?
13. Do you have a top favorite cookbook/s in your book collection?
14. If you could find a good cookbook on it, what type of cooking (for example baking cakes, making pasta, roasting meat, cooking vegetables, making bread, cooking special diets etc) would you most like to learn?
15. Do you mostly use the internet these days to learn (or consult) recipes or do you still read cookbooks?

16. How has your diet changed over the years from when you were a little kid to now?
17. Did your parent/s cook homemade meals much when you were a child?
18. What things do you look for in a cookbook (for example: photos of fantastic looking fishes, the number of recipes in a book, having a fully illustrated book, having "step by step" recipes", the number of pages in the book, the types of recipes, how "modern" or trendy/stylish the recipes are, how easy/quick the recipes are, having the book made after a TV show/celebrity chef , book being themed on seasonal produce etc)?
19. Has a cookbook ever encouraged you to be more creative or confident in cooking?
20. Do you have any cookbook recommendations?

Lots 'n' lots of questions. Are you writing a cookbook?
