I'm excited! I do agree with that it may be lacking some of that on screen charisma that we love from the actors but if the story line is good, then hopefully I can roll with it. I know I wasn't able to continue with Buffy or Angel. It just didn't hold up for me not that I don't enjoy reading...

Honestly, I love anything by Mercedes Lackey specifically the Valdemar Series. Lots of magic, different world not quite medieval but similar realms.

I'm currently reading A Deadly Haunting by Joie Albrecht. It's a terrifying tale about a family who was tormented by what they call Mr. Entity. It is based on a true story that happened in the late 80's/early 90's. Definitely scary...

I also enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series and Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series.
