I can't get away from my bed when I'm reading. I love it.
In winter I have tea and chocolate or buscuits.
In summer cool fruit drink.
But pages get dirty and thats really annoying.
I would love to be able to site down and read book after book. But school takes up most of my time that I just collapse to bed nowadays. It's so sad because when participating in this forum I've barely read any of the books due to lack of time. And the thing I can't do is go and read the book!! :(
It's good to an extent....if you're studying it gets you reading and studying more. And I really struggle finishing a book regularly with the internet and TV now. But it's a bit sad too because I use TV and net as like my news from the outside world.
It's still good if you love to read. So...
Hi there. I still don't know many of you all on here so I guess it's why it's hard to come back with no *hah* friends on the board. So...um I'll vent later. :p
Well G'day G'day,
Lovely to see such a passionate new reader. And great to see you've got over how great one genre is to see there are many more! Ha-ha! I'm still obsessed with fantasy and cannot manage to get onto mythology or horror.
So....What else? What are you doing in college? What...
Yeah they're called 'Sunday Markets' here. Ahh they're a bit of a waste of time here. I mean yes you find good stuff. Yes you can make some cash. And some people rely a lot of their income on it. But once you've seen it a couple of times it's pretty much the same here.
Old ladies with what...
Harry Potter gives off that lovely old fashioned - english feeling. Well the books do anyway. Like, the magic, old english, boarding school thing is really nice and magical, for want of a better word. And when you get really engrosed into that plot and the thoughts of the characters you really...
I think it's very wrong the thought of them getting together. I mean I think of them as brother and sister. I never even contemplated the idea until I was introduced to it on the internet. It feels incestuous. I know it's weird to say but they do feel like siblings, very close friends nothing...
Hi, I know I haven't been here for a while. So hi again!
...Has anyone read this book? I have to admit I was drawn to this book by the front cover. It looks so pretty! And seems like a classis fantasy novel. I've yet to read it so I thought I'd ask those of you that have what you thought of...
Absolutely nothing. I love buying second hand! Love it! You can find books that are never available new or in the shops. But on the other hand sometimes it's not that great, like a copy I found of LOTR, return of the king at a second hand store was $3.50 and brand new $5 There are goods and...
Well fantasy would include all the fairytales from when I was little, horror was the goosebumps sereies and then first fantasy was Harry Potter when I was 10 but I don't think the real fantasy stuff started untill i read lord of the rings, then I started reading fantasy.
