What do you use as a bookmark?

I liek to make my own bookmarks on teh computer or something. Sometimes when I'm bored i'll just draw a picture on a scrap of papaer and it becomes my bookmark. A lot of times i just use whatever is around me at the time. Like a ticket stub or deflated balloon or something.

I was reading through this thread and noticed Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy is a favorite as far as humor. What kind of humor is in that book? like, who would it be appropriate to read? (age group) or is it more adult humor....?

When And Where Do You Read?

I think so many people read before bed because it doesn't really take time out of your day. If you either read or sleep it doesn't seem to use daylight. I think reading is also calming after a long day.

When And Where Do You Read?

    Hardback or Paperback

I've preferred paperback for actual reading. They're easier to travel with. If I think I'll read the book more than two or three times I'll try to get it in hardback. Then it'll last longer.

    Character death in OotP (spoilers)

I think by the end of the series, Percy will end up going back and begging for forgivness. As you said how Sirius's death was so sudden, I think/hope there will be more concerning him in future books.

    Character death in OotP (spoilers)

Well i'm glad you're 'rambling on' about it. I feel the same way. I hadn't heard that's why J K Rowling killed Sirius. I would have liked to see something more creative done with his character i think. I hope Rowling has more flash back scenes for all characters like james and sirius. J K...

Discussion: Rowling, J.K.: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Well, that's what i wonder. if the dead character and Harry will contact eachother. I kind of think they will because of one of the last scenes in the book. Where harry was talking to Luna. For some reason i seemed to find a hint that they will be able to communicate with the dead. I really have...

William Golding: Lord Of The Flies

As i read it more, the plot thickens... It really isn't that bad, I don't even find it too gruesome, yet. oddball --> over the summer we have to read Lord of the Flies and Nectar in a Seive. During the school year we have to read about 7 more i think. I know that includes Catcher in a Rye.
