Hello and a Question

Need help finding a book....

Hello all New to the site just wanted to say hi.

I have a quick question about a book I read about 15 years ago and im looking for the title/author.

Some of the things I remember about the book.

1. Books Main Characters name was Karl
2. Book was in script/play format.
3. Its main theme was along the lines of a group of collage kids getting together to play a AD&D type game and they get sucked into the game world, chaos insues.

Any help would be great!

As for the book, I haven't read it myself but I did a search for you and the closest I could come up with was The Sleeping Dragon by Joel Rosenberg (the first book in the Guardians of the Flame series).
