Trying to find title of book
Italian opera singer falls in love with a married man, he will not get a divorce because he is Catholic. She refuses to see him, but he always goes to see her operas.
She marries an American and has a daughter. Her daughter falls in love with the mans son.
At the end she gets back together with the man, but he ends up dying from a fire caused by his cigarette.
