Harry Dresden is called to a crime scene about a suicide from his friend in the Chicago PD, Karrin Murphy. Of course when Harry arrives,he discovers clues only he can find. That SOMEBODY wanted him to find. It also turns out that the victims are magically gifted and somebody(or something) is murdering them,but making it look like suicide. Before Dresden knows it, Thomas looks to be the one to blame for these crimes. He also gets a closer look on the White Court of vampires.
My opinion: This is a very impressive book. Elaine gets some more screen time, and the ending battle was astounding. Well done Jim Butcher.
