    Diana Gabaldon: Voyager

I also loved Voyager!! The voodoo stuff toward the end ties into a scene in Drums of Autumn. Voyager was my favorite book in the series. However, I haven't read A Breath of Snow and Ashes yet, so that could change.

What's wrong with the public library?

I actually have a very small personal library. I love the library. And...the only types of books I have a hard time finding at the library are the inspirational Christian books. My library only tends to carry the very old ones, and none of the new releases. Anyways...I have no other problems...

    Your Reading Style??

How many books on average do you read in a month? Probably about 4 books a month. It would be more, but it's hard now that I've got a baby! When it comes to reading do you prefer to read hardcover or soft? It doesn't matter to me, but since softcover is smaller, and more portable, I'll go...

    Diana Gabaldon: Dragonfly In Amber

As far as The Fiery Cross goes... I had heard it was a bit of a letdown, too, and I was almost happy to stop at The Drums of Autumn, because I didn't want to ruin a good thing. But, I couldn't leave the series unread, so I went ahead and read it. I will admit that the story is a little...

    How do you get rid?

I have sold several of my hardcovers on Amazon. The profit on paperbacks isn't draw enough for me to sell those on there. I give some paperbacks to the library, and what they won't take, I go to a book swap in town and trade them for books I haven't read.

    Most Disappointing Authors?

Really? I love Diana Gabaldon. She just might be my favorite author. I loved V.C. Andrews early novels, but when she died, the writers who took over in her name don't do her justice. I can't read anything else with her name on it anymore.

    Diana Gabaldon: Dragonfly In Amber

Outlander is the first in the series, so I definitely recommend getting her that one as well. There are six altogether. Outlander, Dragonfly In Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, The Fiery Cross, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes. She could read Dragonfly in Amber without reading the others, but...

Marion Zimmer Bradley: The Mists of Avalon

The Mists of Avalon I'm currently about 75% of the way through The Mists of Avalon. I LOVE IT!! I remember reading The Once and Future King in high school, and the angle that the author took on this book is so great. Has anyone read it? Did you like it? Have you read any other books by...

    Diana Gabaldon: Dragonfly In Amber

I have read all the books up through The Fiery Cross and I am in love with the writing, and also with Jamie :) I can't wait to read A Breath of Snow and Ashes. I'm just waiting for the book to come into my library. I loved Dragonfly in Amber, but there was a part toward the end where I...

Did you ever throw a book across the room?

Oh definitely, and recently as a matter of fact. I was reading the book Voyager by Diana Gabaldon and I got SOO angry, that I actually DID throw the book across the room, and it took me 24 hours to pick the book back up. Lucky for Diana, the plot twist resolved itself, but I was mad there for...

    HEY ya'll!!

HI! My name is Amy and I'm 25 years old, and I'm a bookaholic. I live in Florida, USA. I've been looking for an online book forum to meet some people to share my passion with. I love to read. Growing up, I always had a book with me. I've got a 9-month-old daughter, so I don't have the...
