Apples to Apples is SO much fun! You do need four or more people, though. I love board games. Scrabble (though I prefer Speed Scrabble, which we don't use a board for), Yahzee, Rummikub, Cranium, Beyond Balderdash, Backgammon, and Taboo are all some of my favorites.

For a research paper, I'm reading Campaigning Online by Bruce Bimbar and Richard Davis. Not very exciting (though its somewhat interesting), but I have no time to read for fun till finals are over. First line:

I love Tamora Pierce! You might like Sherwood Smith's Crown Duel/Court Duel (the newer edition has the two in one book, older editions have them separate) and her Wren series. And if you like her stuff, I can point you to more of it, as some of her unpublished stuff you can read free online...

I read the book a LONG time ago, and keep meaning to read it again, since I liked it. But then, there are a ton of books on my list of books to read...

Not sure I have a favorite. Most of what I read occurs between the 1300's and 1950 or so (and mostly concentrated in the latter half of that bracket), but that doesn't mean I won't read anything else (that time frame covers A LOT, anyway).

I don't think anyone but the suicidal approves of suicide in general (though whether or not doctor-assisted suicide should be legal is still a debate). But it's not as if you can make suicide illegal. Of course, we do need to do what we can to help suicidal people. I've always liked this...

I've done it before out of curiosity, but I've never bought anything because of them. They're annoying, though, and thankfully my web browser blocks most of them so they don't even show up.

Books are my anti-drug. Or maybe they're more like a drug, considering how compulsively I read... Anyway, I've used this username on a couple of other sites, and thought it especially appropriate for this one.
