I've read Man walks into a room some months ago. It's about a man who lost all his memories. He decides to take part in a experiment where he gets implant a memory of someone else in his brain. In my opinion Man walks into a room is a solid book, but not quite as brilliant as History of love.
I've read Cat's eye, Alias Grace, The Handmaid's Tale and Oryx and Crake.
Cat's eye is one of my favourites among the books I've read but I also liked The Handmaid's Tale. The only Atwood book I've disliked so far was Alias Grace. :o
It's hard to opt for one of the books I've read this year. But I think I had two highlights so far: The World to Come by Dara Horn and Everyman by Philip Roth. Two great storys and really interesting reading experiences.
This christmas I received two books:
The Secret of Lost Things by Sheridan Hay
How to Talk to a Widower by Jonathan Tropper
Plus the audiobook "The autobiography of Ronnie O'Sullivan". :o
I've a list on my computer with my read and unread books. In addition I have the amazon wishlist and enogh unread books in my shelf. And in this year I want to read as much as I can from my list.
