Hello!

Naming just three authors and three books...wow. I read much more widely than my picks suggest...I love Phillipa Gregory and Bernard Cornwell for their historical fiction, I love Janet Evanovich's humor, Laurie R. King's take on Sherlock Holmes...I mostly read mystery and fantasy but will try pretty much anything. Recently I read Louis LaMour's Last of the Breed and thought it was really wonderful...who knew?

I also am an author...I've written several novels (fantasies...two fantasy mysteries and a fantasy adventure) and short stories (three of which were collected in the anthology Once Upon a Curse, with some pretty wonderful authors. I guess I'm best known for The Chocolatier's Wife and re-told fairy tales.

When I am not writing I am practicing historical fencing with the SCA, or sewing. Or at my desk job at a university, where I am a secretary.
