    Anyone read Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco?

    Honestly, if I can't enjoy any part of the first 30-50 pages of a book...why should I continue? I never got all the way through it primarily because I was never "sucked in" like I have been with Eco's other novels. I'm not sure if it was the language used or the story itself which annoyed me...

    Who is your favourite author, and why?

    I really enjoyed Motherless Brooklyn by Lethem. By Bradbury, I really recommend Death Is A Lonely Business, which also has two sequels...but the first was the best. It's an atypical Bradbury...a mystery. Also Green Shadows, White Whale was terrific...semi-autobiographical.

    Hilarious Reads

    I recommend: "Night of the Avenging Blowfish" and "Begin to Exit Here" by John Welter. Very funny, very subtle.
