This manuscript details my life being born and raised in Zimbabwe from 1970 to present day in Europe. Growing up in the second largest city Bulawayo I have detailed the account of life as a village girl who grew up in poverty during the war and as a teenager. I saw and circulated with privileged students which drove me to want a good life in my adulthood. My father’s teachings gave me the determination to aspire to work hard and live a comfortable lifestyle. My life is filled with sadness, indignation, endurance, hard work and eventually success and joy achieved through hard work.
