Ditto. If I listen to tuneage while reading/studying it has to lack in lyrics. I can sometimes have classical or other such instrumental music on in the background, but it has to be quiet. Generally, I just listen to music or read :).

Rock, classic rock, classical, jazz, blues, indie, punk...hell, pretty much anything. Rap and country are not my favourites, but I'll listen to a few songs from each. Admittedly, though, I am absolutely addicted to music from the 80's.
