    Recommend me a book, thankyou!

    Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card I second this. There are four books in the series, but I have only read the first two. It is one of my favorite books of all time, and I've read it three or four times.

    I also will be picking this up. I can't afford the collector's edition, but all the profit does go to a charity, so it's not like she is really reaping the benefits.

    Posting to say hello!

    I really wanted to get into a forum devoted to literature. I am an English Major in college, so it will be nice to have a place outside of the class room to discuss all things literary! So anyway, I am glad to be here, and I hope to make a viable contribution to these forums!

    I would also recommend George RR Martin, Raymond E. Feist, and Terry Brooks. Also look into Tad Williams and Greg Keyes (I really recommend these).
