I am a book collector and writer. My passion for writing was developed early in grade school and has continued to grow through adulthood. My interest in book collecting began when I realized that behind every first edition there is a story every bit as inspiring as the printed words within it. When you own a collectable book you are a keeper of history, for that book is a survivor of the generation of books that first greeted readers around the world with its wonderful story. Owning that book is the greatest way to pay homage to the immense sacrifice the author made to bring us something that can bestow great joy and perhaps even move the reader to tears. Sometimes a book is more than just a book.
