im glad you have read dune. Its a brilliant book. Unfortunatley im not clever enough to help you out on the synbolics but if you find the first one hard to comprehend wait until you get to the third and fourth ones. they'll really play with your mind.
i get sick if i read in cars but the trick is to chew chewing gum or a boiled sweet. Its best if your chewing is somewhat frantic although u look a little sorry.

i have to say i preffered poa to this one but it did have a fantastic ending. The quidditch world cup wasnt to bad as we gotto meet a female house elf. :)

its been a while since i read it.
i read it and quite enjoyed it. i especially liked the characters of ruth and susies father. Particularly the latter as he refused to deal with his grief silently like everyone else who were pretending to cope.

My problem with books such as dune and lotr where an ideal world is created is that you have to leave the made up world when the books end and you are still yearning for more information about the invented world
