Can't recall the title or author....

That sound like my kind of book. Thanks for coming back and posting the title. I'll keep a look out for it in my local library

Re-reading-to do it, or not to do it

I wouldn't re-read for a BOTM, but there are a few books in my collection that I've read more than once due to them being favourites.

    Vampire Novel Recommendations

Horror is the main genre that I read, vampire novels being my favourite. Like so many others I would have to recommend Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicles. As for Richard Laymon's, well although I'm a fan of his, I was disappointed with Travelling Vampire Show. Lastly Sherrilyn...

    Buy books?

Chart books I buy from Tescos as they are usually half the price of other stores. Older books I buy from Waterstones or WHSmith's bookshop. The majority of books, I just hire from the library though.

What's the last book you read?

I've just finished Looking Good Dead by Peter James. Horror is usually my preferred genre but I quite enjoyed reading this crime novel. It's part of The Roy Grace series, Dead Simple being the first part and also a good read

Do you buy, borrow or take out from the library?

I borrow the majority of books that I read basically because I read so many. It would cost me a small fortune to buy them all, not to mention store them. However, now that certain supermarkets sell chart paperbacks for a mere £3.50-ish I have started to buy more especially if they are written by...

    e-books vs physical books

I prefer to have the book in front of me rather than an ebook. However, I have found certain books offered free in EBook format. I've been lucky enough to have certain authors send me free copies of their book too in EBook format. So both have their advantages

have you guys read an e-book

I own a few EBooks. I say own, because I always print them out to read. Reading from the screen just isn't as good especially when I only read at coffee breaks etc. To be honest, I do prefer to have the book itself rather than an EBook. Which is why all the EBooks I own have come to me free...

    Best Book You Ever Read

I would have to say Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire. As a lover of vampires it was like giving a child a great big piece of candy! :D

    Good Place to Read

I take whatever book I'm currently reading everywhere with me. On the bus, at the bus stop, hospital appointments, in the garden, on the sofa, in bed and even whilst I'm cooking the dinner. My favourite place to read though is in the park during the Summer :)

    LibraryThing

Thanks for the links to boths sites. I checked them both out and decided to go with Listal. Currently in the process of adding all my lists, which will probably take days, but the link is in my signature if anyone wants to check it out and add me as a friend :)

    Recently purchased DVDs

I loved the book but held back from watching the film as they never seem to be as good. Maybe I'll watch it now :) Last movie I bought was Crying Freeman. I'm a big manga/martial arts fan :D
