    ™ actually means it's not registered. If it were registered then you'd use the ® symbol. Anyone can use ™ to indicate that they wish a name/logo not to be stolen, but it's legally much weaker than ®.

    steffee, You 'click' to adjust the values. It's a graphical representation of the tone/mood/style of a film/book - rather than just saying it's a 'Romantic/Comedy'. I'm a software engineer, so not that much effort. Sorry you don't like the green. It kinda goes with my site.

    Hi guys, Having a natural dislike of genres, aka pigeon holes, I got to thinking that there must be a better way. So just for a bit of fun I knocked up something called a GenrePlex. It's a long way from perfect but if you're interested maybe you could suggest improvements. Find out more...

    Thanks muchly for your comments Kookamoor. Just to clarify, vanity publishing should be avoided by everyone. This is where you hand over money to a 'publisher' to publish your book, and sign away most of your rights. I am effectively my own publisher and have paid no one (other than a printer...

    Just because I have other skills doesn't make me any less good at being a writer. A wild concept here, but maybe you'd like to read the first chapter of my novel on my website before you comment on my skills as a writer.

    Well, Stewart, maybe if you've written your own book, typeset it, proof read it, designed the cover, created three websites, managed a printer, registered for an ISBN, got it listed on Amazon and Google Books, appeared on local radio, and arranged a launch party at Starbucks, all on your own ...
