I don't think the original poster meant this subject to be humorous so I find it surprising when other posters find it that way. As for the barfing, back at ya Hugh!
Hi CharlotteAnn: I'm reading the first book I've ever read by Jodi Picoult "The Pact" and find it a bit of a heartbreaker so far - plus I can't imagine 9 year olds getting up to the same antics as the characters in the book. It's kind of scary to think that parents maybe never know their kids...
Hi Beer Good: Are you saying that Pastafarianism is one of the fastest growing religions? I read the paper and watch the news on tv each day and on this forum is the first time I've ever heard of it - so are you serious or are you messing with our minds? :D
My apologies Stewart, I was thinking that your were being flippant. Looked up Pastafarians and there they were - things are getting weirder and weirder.

If you are asking about religious matters I think you might find that many people regard it as a deeply personal subject and they don't care to discuss it. As to learning new things - I don't think I'm afraid of that.
Why would you think that people are afraid in this regard?
I'm in an SUV driving away from the home of my 'cult' sisters and trying to entice the mad killer into the open - he's trying to kill me and my sisters and knows where I am telepathically.
Just a question from a non-math and science background - does energy remain constant or does it expand and what happens to the radiation we get bombarded with from outer space - does it just get absorbed into the earth - I have lots more questions along this line but maybe should get a book on it.
I like the idea that energy is always present and can't be destroyed. It would be comforting to know that the energy of all the people you have known and are no longer living is still around in some form. Have no strong opinion one way or the other - just one of those things it's impossible to...
