In the fourth book, Sirius says clearly that Snape was in Slytherin, because he talked about all his friends becoming Death Eaters. The comparison to malfoy and snape + harry is different; Snape is mean, but still is good, but malfoy is evil and wants harry dead, like father, like son.

I think it's going to be ron or hermionie, because they look like they're going to establish a relationship, and it would be just like a book like this to to kill one and leave the other heartbroken. But it all depends on the 6th book :confused:
I agree with the emotions bit. J. K Rowling makes each book darker and makes Harry more emotional, and it had a great ending, which is harder since every book ends with a discussion with Dumbledore
