Can someone recommend some good Thrillers for me?

I'd go for any books by: Mo hayder Tess Gerritsen Karin Slaughter Kathy Reichs Patricia Cornwell as far as I can remember none of them are courtroom or political, some are medical but all are good!

    Novels with a medical setting

definately Tess Gerritsen, I just finished Harvest and it was a thoroughly entertaining read, (although NONE of her books so far have disappointed). Also, try My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, it's a medical drama without the murder/thriller side of things.

Are you picky about the condition of your books?

If i buy a book new then it MUST be perfect, but once i've read it I don't mind what the condition is. an old, worn, well-read book is as good as a pair of comfortable old slippers!

Are you a member of any book club(s)?

I have been a member of many book clubs but I now just buy nearly all my books in Tesco, although harder to find/specific ones I get from book shops
