Recently Purchased/Borrowed

Yesterday I bought The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and The Other Boelyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. I had to restrain myself from buying Memiors of a Geisha as well, as I still have to buy HBP when it comes out on Saturday. My savings account is going to be seriously dented because of this..

China Seas by John Harris. (real name is Mark Hebden)

This author sounds like an he lead an interesting life,
Born in 1916, Mark Hebden wrote many crime fictions. He was a sailor, airman, a journalist, travel courier, cartoonist and a history teacher. During the Second World War he served with two air forces and two navies. After turning to full-time writing, Hebden created a sequence of crime novels around the quirky fictional character Chief Inspector Pel. A master of his genre, Hebden's writing is as timeless as it is versatile and entertaining.
Sadly died in 1991, but it looks like he packed a lot into his life

Robinson Crusoe - Defoe
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea - Verne

I have done it. I have once again succumbed to my addiction. Thanks to members of this forum - Oberon in particular for bringing them up to my attention first, I've just gotten myself Relic, by Preston and Child.

Looking forward to it!
