What fiction book do you keep reading over and over?

I do lots of rereading, but the ones I reread the most are:

Little Women
Jane Eyre
Wuthering Heights
Great Expectations
Old Curiosity Shop
A Christmas Carol

I can never seem to get enough of the Victorians!

Re-reading books is not a frequent habit for me, but at times I do grab Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and the Harry Potter series to reminisce on the past.

I re-read...

I but every book I decide to read- and I never use the library, just good old Barnes & Noble- so I have a huge library at my house. I found, however, that I read much faster than the time it takes for my wallet to fill up again. So, to pass the time, I usually find myself re-reading one of these:

1) Prey, Andromeda Strain, or Jurassic Park By Michael Crichton.

2) Any Terry Goodknd book...

3) Fire Bringer or The Sight By Clement-Davis.

4) It, Carrie, The Green Mile, The Long Walk, or On Writing By Stephen King

and finalliy...

5) The Seventh Tower Series, The Keys to The kingdom Series, or Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen By Garth Nix.

I mainly re-read books when I can't find anything new that interests me. I re-read The Thorn Birds every few years; my collection of Maeve Binchy books in paperback; Bill Bryson's travel books, which I read when I need a good laugh; ditto for P. J. O'Rourke's "Holidays in Hell"; and one of my favorites, "Last of the Breed" by Louis L'Amour. I tend to re-read some books the way people eat comfort food. :)

One I have reread quite a bit is Suffer the Children by John Saul. It's good, but not one of the greatest books I've ever read. But there's something about it that draws me back. I've also read Anne Rice's vampire chronicles over again.

The Princess Bride and /or Marathon Man (william goldman)
....yes i know all the plot twists and the endings, but - hey!!
those one line(rs)!

The speeches of George Bush. I'm determined to find some truth in them somewhere.

:D :D :D

Just the idea of a collection of Dubya's speeches in printed form is hilarious.

I've just started reading Robert Graves' I, Claudius for the third or fourth time.

There are a lot of Books:

- The "Anne of Green Gables" Series by Lucy Maud Montgomery
- The most of Astrid Lindgren and Erich Kästner
- Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit by J.R.R.Tolkien
- about a boy by Nick Hornby
- Bridget Jones by Helen Fielding
- All Books written by Walter Moers
- Harry Potter

And a lot more. I read almost every book twice.

I love to read "The Secret History" by Donna Tart gets better everytime i read it. Also Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. one of my all time favorite books.

The Power of One-Bryce Courtenay

I read it my first time in South Africa and it quickly became my favorite...also Tandia the sequal.

Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding

haha i couldn't even get past 20 pages or so. i dunno why.

angels of september ( greeley), bourne identity (read it first when i was in high school, probably read this around ten times already), the books of gabriel garcia marquez because i don't get it at first reading

I haven't re-read any books for quite a spell actually. However I tend to keep Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban beside my bed for some late night reading when I have trouble getting to sleep at times.
