Invisible Man Novels

I've been getting into novels about invisible men, even though I really had no interest in them until lately, and now I'm trying to write one. I've read "Memoirs of an Invisible Man," "Fade" and "Being Invisible."

The first two were really good, the last one was only okay, but I'm trying to read novels about invisibility so I can avoid repeating what's been done.

Can anyone recommend any more books on the subject?

How about the original - H.G. Wells's The Invisible Man? It's far from his best work, but essential reading if you're writing around the subject.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the most famous one, which was actually the last of the ones I read. I actually liked this one better than War of the Worlds.

I had one that was based on the TV show of the seventies. I still have Wells book on my shelf. And (unrelated) there is Invisible Man.
