Could you ask her if she could fit a few of the Hare Krishnas that hang around on the high street into her busy schedule?? :)
Okey dokey. She doesn't much like them either. She much prefers the Rabbit Krishnas. Phnarr phnarr.

I do apologise. It's been a long day.

I had a dog named Bobby, died about 3 years ago. I still miss him. My dad got his own pond to looking after koi fishes. I name one of those fishes called Gobble!

Aw ^_^ the pictures you all have posted are so cute! I'm especially fond of the rabbits(too cute). If I can find any, I'll post some pictures of my chickens. Sadly, none of them are with me any longer, but they were always my favorite pets and I was so proud of them.

I haven't got my bunnies back from the vets yet. They spayed them yesterday, but they didn't do it till the afternoon and the little blighters hadn't woken up properly by the evening, so they wouldn't let us take them home. They said they'd phone us at 8 to tell if we could have our bunnies back. So I'm sitting here being all anxious for my rabbits. And I don't like it one little bit. :(

When we took my mom's cat to get spayed, the vet forgot to perform the surgery! We brought her home and then took her out of the carrier to discover no shaved patch...so we called the vet and had to take her back. Mom got so mad at having to be without her kitten for not one, but two nights she insisted the vet allow us to bring her home the evening after the surgery. She was a bit dopey, but recovered quickly enough.

bobbyburns, you scare me a bit.

Did he think you'd just brought the cat round for a visit on account of really liking sitting in small cages in surgeries?

I got my bunnies back this morning. The nurse said she kept them in because they weren't eating and she was worried. But did she phone us up to find out what they liked to eat? No. Got them home, and sat them in front of a big pile of kale and they scoffed it down like the ravenous beings of destruction they are. And she didn't want me putting hay in their cage either. I don't like being given advice by people who don't own rabbits. I'm glad sniper kicked her in the belly. :)

Where I live now (block of flats in London) we aren't allowed to keep pets. :(
Previously though I have owned a pet sheep (Snowflake), a pet donkey (Sindy), a big dopey golden labrador (Chloe), one black labrador (Molly), 5 cats (Tom, Jerry, Ginger, Mouser, Moggie), 2 goldfish (Dempsey and Makepiece), two rabbits (Pinky and Perky), 2 cows (Daisy and Buttercup), and a shire horse (Dolly). All gone on to the big menagerie in the sky sadly. :(

Now I just have to content myself with my cuddly toys - Chris (the Moose) Little Womble (the Womble  ), Bob (the Seal), Wicket (the Ewok), Bugsy (the Rabbit), and various penguins, whales and teddy bears who have no names (shame on me).

Pet Lovers

I thought I would go ahead and create a thread about pets and the people who love them! Do you have pets? If so, what kind and what are their names? I have 5 pets total (6 recently...one of my budgies recently passed away - RIP Gracey). Right now I have a cat named Sam, a budgie named Julie, a hamster named Angelica, and two bettas: Dory and Gilbert.

A mutt-terrier named Snickers. She's a great lap-dog and smoking companion. Sleeps an awful lot.....like her owners. :D

We're not settled enough yet to take on the responsibility of pets, but we love animals. When we visit friends, we're pretty up-front about being there to play with their pets.

We also volunteered at a zoo for a while. We washed elephants and shoveled up after camels.

I want a pet giraffe so bad.

i've got two pets.. a cat, named snowflake, and a ferret, named bob. snowflake is an interesting character. she's one of those fluffy cats.. and she's a diva and kind of spoiled. she can get annoying but she amuses me. and bob's just adorable. i wish he swam though..
