Have you still got any of them? :D:rolleyes:

Oh but it gets better. They accidentally mailed copies to my older brother! The other half of that roll of film had pictures from a disney vacation I had taken with my brother. So Mom cut the film in half to send him the pictures of him and his wife, and throw away the pictures of me. She got mixed up and my brother promptly gave me a telephone call asking WHY our mother would send him nude photos of his little sister.....

Question: In front of you is a large red button. If you push the red button you will end world hunger forever. No one will ever starve to death or go hungry again. However, at the exact same moment the entire state of california will break off and drop into the ocean, killing pretty much all it's inhabitants. Do you push the red button to end world hunger? Or save california?
That depends - is a certain president visiting California at that certain point in time? ;)

Um, no I don't think I would. We can always work towards stopping world hunger by sending food packages and such, but we would never get those Californians back.

Would you rather be blind or deaf?

Actually, this is a question that a blind woman asked me once. (I had spent a couple of days with her at a retreat.) "Deaf," I answered fervently, thinking of my books. She was indignant, and pointed out that going to the retreat would have been pointless for her had she been deaf. She had been blind from infancy, and asked me to describe Lake Tahoe to her. I still remember the feeling of being completely at a loss.

How would you describe a huge blue lake to a person who had been blind since infancy?

Oh.

My.

God!

I'd seriously consider making the sacrifice. Oh! G'kids here. Never mind.

Next idea?

How do you spell "Imp --"

:D

Usually New Years Day.

What did you want to be when you were younger, and what do you actually do now?

I wanted to be a journalist and ended up being an auditor.

What do you prefer to drink?

Does that explain your user name?? :p

What do you prefer to drink?
Juice - almost anything except cranberry or grapefruit. Particularly orange juice with lots of pulp! In the alcoholic category it would be Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, Baileys and the new Malibu passionfruit. Mmm! Oh, and I love trying new wines. I really want to develop my palate and be able to better appreciate wine.

I'm watching that ad that features the tiny pet-size hippopotamus. If you could have any animal at any size as a pet, what would it be?

What's your favorite fruit?
Nectarines, of course!

If you could travel to any place in the world, (and you wouldn't lose your job or have to worry about expenses) where would you go?

Europe. Hands down. But if you were wanting a specific country then Greece. I really, /really/ want to visit the Acropolis.

Who is your favourite Simpsons character?

The sheriff's son, the fat one who picks his nose...can't remember his name, but he always has something hilariously dumb to say whenever he shows up.

Do you believe in luck?

Yes. (I've never heard of someone who does not believe in luck. What else wins a game of Monopoly? :p )

Do you believe that the past can be changed, or that the past is set and takes into account any future attempts to change it (if that makes sense)?

Oh man, I don't believe in luck... I even hate the thought of it. It's superstition to me.

Makes perfect sense, and I believe that the past is set and takes into account any future attempts to change it. I've actually thought about this a few times before :p (Even though I don't think we would be able to detect any changes made in history because then we'd be taught those changes and not what we would have originally believed to be the truth)

Do you agree with this quote: (though I'm not sure who said it) "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal"?

No. Voting alone could put a stupid president charge who likes to declare war on random countries and do nothing but laze around on his Crawford ranch (where people hate him anyways and ought to throw rotten fruit at him as he passes by...) Sorry if I got carried away there ! :D

What is your favorite fairy-tale?

What was the last piece of music you bought?
I am so disappointed in myself - it was Crazy Frog Christmas Songs or something. I got it for a member of my family for Christmas and had to make sure that the girl at the counter knew that it wasn't for me.

Who is your least favourite celebrity?

Brad Pitt.

What talent or ability (as in an instrument, sport, dance) do you wish you had learned when you were a kid?

I wish that I had have carried on with either my French or Japanese classes at high school - probably more French. I really want to learn another language, and may do it once I am out of Med school.
