Hi there:

I'd like to start reading some Dragonlance books but I'm not sure with one I should start with. Any recommendations???

I'd start with Chronicles and Legends.

That's what I did 15 years ago when I was in middle school and started devouring these books.

Yes, That is a good place to start.I found a list of the order which is very helpfull.

This is the way to approach these books, I cant remember clearly, but I think the chronological order is;

1.The Chronicles;
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
Dragons of Winter Night
Dragons of Spring Dawning

2.The Legends:

Time of The Twins
War Of The Twins
Test Of The Twins

for the Tales and Heroes series, it does not seem to matter what order you read them in.

I really enjoyed The Chaos War series. I especially loved The Doom Brigade by Margaret Weis and Don Perrin.

...I'm thinking of re-reading this.

Stick with the Weis & Hickman books IMO. I like Chronicles, Legends, etc quite a bit - but the other misc Dragonlance is kind of hit and miss.

The War of Souls Volume 1: Dragons of a Fallen Sun

it's good so far
