Oh, I almost forgot, while looking around at used books today I saw something kinda interesting. I'm skimming the shelves and I see a set of gold books with no titles or anything, so being curious I pulled them out for a look and they were hardbacks someone had spray painted gold :eek:

:eek: How odd! Did you see what books they were from the inside title page?
 
AquaBlue, can you not just type the name of the book like everyone else? All these graphics affect the loading time of the page. :mad:


Anyway, my latest purchases, because I can't stop myself buying:
  • Selected Short Stories, Rabindranath Tagore
  • We, Yevgeny Zamyatin

We all have the option turning off the images (as well as the mad 'smilies') right down at the bottom of this page, Stewart.

I kinda enjoy an illustration now and again. :p

I'm well aware of that. But why would I want to turn off all images? Every one else types the name of a book; we don't really need to see a cover in this thread. If you want to see the occasional illustrate then may I suggest you go and drink in Amazon to your heart's content.
