I think I've died and gone to heaven!

Oh. . .my. . .gosh, this is the most beautiful site I've ever seen. I seriously think I've entered Nirvana or untopia, or something. As you can tell, I am new, and simply dumstruck that such a place even exists on the web.

Introductions are always a good place to start. I'm MooreFox, and I'm in college, a female history major with a love for books that goes beyond description. Loved 'em since I was too little to hold them properly (so I've been told) and love them more even now. I can't wait to start hunting around my new favorite place on the web. Hope to get to know all of you guys soon!

Hi MooreFox. You are right about the Heaven part and all the angels here are pretty nice too.
Welcome,
Peder

Welcome, MooreFox!
Rest assured; you are not dead, despite what they might tell you...this is actually happening ;)
Post lots! Go crazy!

Thanks for the warm welcme everyone! Divine Comedy indeed. Story of my life - sometimes heaven, sometimes the other, less-than-savory-place, sometimes both at once (most of my college life to put it more specifically - hate finals week). Oh and I'm not quite sure what my focus is in my major, haven't got to that point yet. I just know it won't be American History (not to insult my own country. I get past the civil war, and suddenly I lose interest. Go figure). So it will probably be Ancient of European, can't decide which. How many people here live in the U.S? (this is a U.K site correct?)

Anyway, thanks for making it seem all the cozier here, and you can sure bet I will be posting around frequently!

You really don't have to know what you want to do until your a junior...at least in the states. We have educators dumb enough to tell kids that they have to know what they want to do in high school, which is absolutely nonsense.

To each their own. Colonial history, the gilded age, and the depression are my personal favorites.

About half of us are from the states. The Brits are great board members to be with, other than their knack for putting the driving wheel in the wrong side of the car.;)

We aim to please.
