Favourite King Movie, and Book

My favorite Stephen King movie is Delores Clairborne.

My favorite book is The Talisman.

I think The Shawshank Redemption is one of the rare cases that a film adaptation surpassed the original. I love it intensely, even among all the movies I've ever seen it's one of my favourites.
As for King books, among the seventeen I've read so far, The Dead Zone would be my favourite.

/agreed

My favorite Stephan King book is Different Seasons

I liked Misery and Dolores Claiborne.

I didn't like Pet cemetery or It.
One that I never thought was a King story was the Shawshank Redemption. It's a good movie.

The Shawshank Redemption isn't a favorite movie of mine, but I do agree that it was better than the story (which I wasn't that crazy about). Different Seasons seemed to spawn some of the better King film adaptations. Stand By Me is another great movie based on a story in that collection.

For favorite book, I really liked The Stand.

Favorite movie ... well I love Shawshank, but the movie doesnt bear all that much relation to the short story, so I would have to say Misery is the one that does it for me :)
