Quick Answer Please!

I would like to buy a new book tomorrow, and I need to have some ideas on what to buy. Please help!

My question: What is the most suspenseful/best thriller out there?!

Thanks everyone!

PS. I am into psychological, messed-up-in-the-head thrillers ...

Well, I can't really recommend this one (since I haven't read it yet), but you might want to take a look at "The Re-Killing of Greyeyes" by Mark Nosack. I met the gentleman a couple of months ago at a Barnes & Noble--we were both doing a book signing that day. He mentioned that his novel is based on an actual case he investigated as a police detective. The crowd around his table seemed intrigued, so it might be worth checking out.

Hi tommydarascal ,

perhaps Intensity by Dean Koontz? Look in the WWW for more informations about this book. Have you nevertheless questions - Im here. ;)

Fabi: I have already read Intensity and it is excellent! It is definitely up there in my top ten...

Anyway, I have recently bought "Promise Me" by Harlan Coben and "Gentlemen and Players" by Joanne Harris. "Promise Me" seems rather good ... I am 70 pages in.
