Ghost Rider

My wife and I saw Ghost Rider last night. Has anyone else seen it? What did you think of it? I haven't read any of the comics, but I thought it was pretty good. I always like Sam Elliot.

I've heard people say it was good, which really surprised me. When I saw the commercials I thought it looked stupid and corny. But I'll have to give it a second chance...

I would only see it because it was shot in Melbourne and I could say "I've been there," or "I used to shop there all the time," or "That's the Docklands, that's the MCG." (I have no idea if those places are even in it).

Admittedly a little sad, I know, but I do love the city!

Oh, and the Cage factor helps a bit, but in the previews he looks a little uncomfortable/embarassed. Has anyone else noticed that?

I saw the movie. I liked it, but didn't care much for the actress. I thought Cage was cool. I read somewhere he's a big comic book collector, so I would expect he really wanted to do the movie.

I would have expected a more suped up motorcyle. Loved the Carpenter jokes. Cage's daredevil persona reminded me of his 'Elvis' character from a previous movie.

I don't know if I could get over the concept of a person made of fire riding a motorcycle. Like in the commercial where the girl is describing him in a TV interview...I just groaned when I heard it. It sounds so stupid. But if they could get me past that I might enjoy the movie.
