Recently Purchased/Borrowed

Cormac McCarthy's The Crossing and Cities of the Plain. I now own All The Pretty Horses so I will own the complete Border Trilogy once my books arrive from Amazon.
 
Today at walmart I bought Transformers by Alan Dean Foster and Maximum Ride: The end is near or is it? by James Patterson. I love that series.:D :D :D
 
Redwall

I comend you for liking redwall it's such a good series, and (to all those haters out there) just because it's classified as childrens doesn't mean it's not a good series.

Went to goodwill and picked up two unusual gems-Letters from the Earth by Mark Twain and edited by Bernard DeVoto. Also picked up1876 by Gore Vidal.
 
Reading Judas by Elaine Pagels and Karen King. Found it at a small independent bookshop near a friend's house. I always feel obliged to buy something in those cute little places.
 
I visited a local Goodwill store this morning and purchased the following:

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Rabbit at Rest by John Updike (hardback)
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (red jacket- hardback)

All the books are in great condition. The latter two books I already own. I have them in softback. I will sell these softback volumes at eBay. I will thus keep the hardbacks for myself. :)

i bought, and am currently reading, acts of worship by yukio mishima. this girl i'm trying to get in the sack recommended it.
