Good Place to Read

abecedarian is talking about "the porcelain god" otherwise known as the toilet.:D

Ah! I hadn't heard that way of saying it before. :D Yes, I do that as well.

Too bad jammers are illegal here or else I would go out and buy one right now!

It depends on where I am; sometimes its on a bus or on the beach or in a movie theatre (before it starts), but usually it has be fairly quiet for me to sit down and read a book and nothing really else going on around me. I have been known to read while watching TV. I also like to put on my iPod while reading.

For me it would have to be my blue moon chair...hmm...must be a thing with blue!! :D It's jean and I love it. There was a white one that my mom wanted me to get but I had to have blue. :p Also, the couch in our loft which is also blue (yes I'm serious!!!) It's leather and dark navy...this is actually creepy you know that? Anyways, it is under a skylight, and I always sit there when it rains; perfect! Another thing with me is I LOOOOOVE to have soup when I'm reading. Weird I guess...I dunno. :p I read basically everywhere else too...but those are my favorite places!

I like laying down in bed and reading. Sometimes it puts me to sleep, sometimes I up past my 'bedtime' finishing off an extra chapter or three ...:D

I like reading in bed, or on my "nap couch", as my boyfriend calls it. If I'm downstairs, sometimes I'll turn the TV on low for a little background noise. If I'm upstairs, hearing my boyfriend on his computer in the next room is enough for me.

Here at home i read in bed most of the time; at the country house we have a ...kind of a swing? i don't know the English word, on which i lay down and read or i just put a blanket on the grass in the garden :)

I think it's perfectly fine to read a book you've broght with you in a borders or B&N. Especially if it's a worn book and wouldn't be mistaken as something new off the rack.

I'm most comfy reading at home, either on the bed, the floor or the sofa. I can't read in public places, as I get distracted quite easily and am often looking up to see what is going on. I could quite easily read on the train (when I used to catch it to work) though, as I could just put my head down and ignore the chatter. ;)

its somewhat the opposite for me.
i feel uncomfortable reading at home.
maybe its beacuase its usually cold,
and if i get in blankets ill fall asleep.

i really enjoy reading where theres some noise,
my recent favorite is outside of panera while enjoying a cinnamon crunch bagel.:D

I really like reading at the park on a bench. As long as there isn't much wind. It gets annoying when I have to be holding the pages down so they won't just turn on me.
