What was the very last series you read?

harry potter - which i found disapointing. i enjoy but think rowling isn't much of a writter.

the Twilight series by Meyer awaiting the fourth. i love this series i didn' think i would but its completly won me over.

and the temeraire series by naomi novik, beautifully written and full of heroics, humour, action and dragons :) awaiting the 5th and the film that Peter Jackson is hopefully makeing soon.

I have just begun the third in the Camel Club series by David Baldacci, Stone Cold, having begun the series just before Christmas. I think this one is going to be as good as the rest.

I am also getting right into the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connolly. I think Harry grows on you. The first one wasn't bad I thought, The Closers, then I read City of Bones, which again I though was all right. But I found my self looking for another to go on with after that, so found Angel's Flight which is the best one I have read so far. Black Echo I have also located at the library so it will be next.

I do rather like a good series. You can really get into the character. You know what to expect. Harry is worth a go, although I don't know if you really get to know him like you do with Rebus.

Bagger is probably my favorite "villian" from all the books I've read recently. Not from the standpoint of him being so unique or diabolical or whatever - just entertaining. :)

I'm embarrassed to admit this but . . . The Shopaholic series. It used to be one of my guilty pleasures but I found that the last two weren't as amusing.

Harry Potter for me too! And before that the last series I completed was the (wait for it...) Spiderwick Chronicles. Although, I am in the middle of the Inheritance series by Paolini...but he's taking a millennia to write it...and expanding it to 4 books instead of just 3!!

Wrapped up The Sword of Truth and am in the middle of The Dresden Files. I'm taking a break from it seeing as I have more than enough to do with school assignments and all.
