How often do you read?

If I got the chance, I'd read for hours per day. Unfortunately, between work, school, and taking care of my husband & cats, I might get a half hour on the weekdays to read. :( I usually get an hour or two on Saturday and Sunday, depending on how many engagements I might or might not have.

I usually read during class, even though we're not supposed to. So, all in all, it's about 5-6 hours everyday during the week I read, and in the morning on weekends until I go out with friends, then continue once I get home until I'm tired enough to fall asleep. I'm a slow reader, but I read alot, so it doesn't take me that long to finish a book.

I usually do my sit down serious reading about 2 hours every evening after my son is asleep. But I also read all through out the day in little bits while waiting for appt, waiting for computer to load up, waiting for dinner to cook, I always have a book with me. When I'm driving or in the shower I listen to audio book and I've got my son hooked on those now from the car.

After I get home from work, I'm tired, and I find it harder to concentrate. :( Still, I try to squeeze some in. :)

Yeah, it's the same with me, i also usually don't read after i got home from work. The easy solution for this problem, for me, was: I started to read in work ;) and because of that i usually finish one book per week, because i can (most of the time) read 30 to 50 pages on one day, just because i read at work!!
Well okay, my boss maybe don't like it, but i couldn't care less!!
Don't know if my system will work for you, but it definitely works for me :D

I read daily.

I like reading in the morning, before work, before the wife and kids wake up to start their day. I set the coffee pot for 4:45 am so I can get up and enjoy an hour our so with a book before jumping in the shower and rushing off to work.

I'm not discriminating, however. I'll read in the afternoon, mid-morning, evening, whatever, as long as time presents itself. Mornings though are the routine.

I hate reading in bed, btw. I can't get comfortable in a sitting position, I can't get the light to my satisfaction, my arms get tired holding the book in a comfortable position relative to the rest of me being comfortable in the bed, etc. I *never* read in bed.

I don't have a set time for reading, but I read every now and then when I'm in the mood. I've gone without reading for over 2 months sometimes. =P

I try to read everyday, but I do struggle on workdays. When I get home, I'm usually so tired (and my eyes are strained from staring at the computer all day), that I find it hard to concentrate. Weekends are much better for me.

Of course, if it's a very good book that I can't put down, then I read it, tired eyes or not. ;)

Been a painter i listen to audio books while working(all day), read during lunch, then a bit before bed.All the time would be accurate.

If you don't count school work I read everyday, but I only have about half an hour's worth of free time to read during the weekdays.
