5.The Looking Glass War Frank Beddor

14.Frankenstein Unbound--Brian w, Aldiss

19. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister--Gregory maguire

37. All Quiet on the Western Front--Eriche Maria Remarque

The Looking Glass War, was on my list too, it was an ok book, not as exciting as i thought it would be, it made me go back to Alice in Wonderland, which i read again

Frankenstein Unbound- How is that book? what is it about?

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister- Isn't it some sort of prequel and sequel to the book Wicked?

All Quiet On The Western Front- Is one book i want to read, but i am skeptical as to how long and drone it would be. how is this book?

disconnected, there is nothing you can do wrong with this book. I read it in school and picked it up a few years later for re-reading. I still have it on my shelf. :)

It's an amazing book. It's not too terribly long and not too hard to get through.

thanks, i was a little skeptical, but thanks ill give it a try, the one book that i picked up and couldnt help not reading was Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Anyone read that one??

p.s lmao at your signature!!! i am sorry no offense to Stewart its just funny!!

Disconnected--

I liked the ''Looking Glass War''...but it was a little strange. I'm not too sure even now whether or not I really cared for making all the characters warriors.

"Frankenstein Unbound" was excellent. One of my favorite reads for the year. It's about a man from the future being sucked into the world of Frankenstein. Only it's not just Frankenstein and his monster, but also Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley, and Lord Byron, all living in the same place. Surreal, but fun.

"Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" was his spin on Cinderella. I haven't read "Wicked" yet so I don't know if he ties his books together or not. As far as I know, it's just about Cinderella. And tulips. A lot about tulips.

As the others have said, " All Quiet on the Western Front" was a splendid book. It does not drone at all, the story is interesting from beginning to end.

lmao!! but i might me mistaken about that, i am not sure really if ties up with Wicked, but i read somewhere something about it, might be the whole fairy tale turned novel kinda thing.

Thanks for the additions to my list :p

Brain fog is an fugly thing. Actually, I'd love to talk about The Joys of Motherhood.. just trying to figure out where to start. (Did I mention Brain Fog? I can't remember).
I often find myself lost in those brain fogs. *nods* Know exactly what you mean there!
