Childhood books

I really liked some of Roald Dahl's books when I was young. I think I read Matilda at least ten times when I was in fifth grade. The film version was poor, but I'm just being off-topic for the sake of being off-topic.
 
The Forgotten Door by Alexander Key. I still own the copy that I received and read at age six. It's badly tattered now but no less loved.
