Tattoos and Piercings

Not Another...

I got yet another piercing:

Thread merged with previous tattoos and piercings thread. AB, please do a search before creating a topic because, nine times out of ten, there's a thread on it already.

I posted about my tat earlier, but I have 7 piercings too, 3 in each ear (one in the tip top and 2 lower in the lobe) & my belly button.

I have two piercings in each ear, a tongue ring, and 5 tattoos. I used to have my nose and belly button pierced but because I couldn't change them out, I had to let the holes close up (long story). I do plan on getting my nose re-pierced.

I got my first tattoo when I was barely 18. I don't regret any of them. Then again, I don't have any names or chinese symbols/advertisements on my body. And I also give thought into what I am getting before I get it. The tattoo on the inside of my wrist is the only one people even see, for the most part.

I didn't get tattoos or piercings because of peer pressure, or because I wanted to be "cool". There is no changing the fact that I am dorky.

Erm.... That's all I can think of to say right now. I can post pics of my tattoos if anyone is interested. That is all. :p

I'm not a big fan of tattoos and piercings, AND I'm a coward when it comes to having pain inflicted on me voluntarily ... so I've only got the traditional earlobe piercings, one per side.

I don't even have my ears pierced.
And I'm too scared of needles to get a tattoo I guess, or any piercings.

I have this bad taste in my mouth when people get tattoos that have no significant value.
I went grocery shopping the other day and saw a couple with tattoos all over their face of (obviously) nothing valuable to them. Stars on their forehead, a skull on the forearm, I just think it's stupid.

I want a tattoo really bad, and if I did get one it would definitely be a portrait of my grandfather when he was in Vietnam (with the hat and serious look) because even though I rarely saw him because he moved out of state, and pass 5 years ago I still feel a connection.

My opinion :)

If you ever decide to go through with it, make sure you pick a good artist and check out his work. You don't want to end up like this:

Ow, I hope that wasn't your tattoo, but if I did get it it would be by a very known artist, like the guys from Miami Ink or LA ink.
