Does anyone know of any good fiction books about family relationships? Families with more positives than negatives would be good. Thanks!

What do you mean by postive family relationships? Most fiction is about angst and turmoil, usually with some sort of resolution. Are you meaning you want cosy stories, like Recipes for Easy Living by Curtiss Ann Matlock? That is part of a series placed in the fictional town of Valentine Oklahoma, and depicts not just the relationships in one family, but of a whole community.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's okay if it has turmoil and angst, but I'm looking for a book that has a strong family that sticks together.

Then you definately should check out the Matlock series. Oh, and Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns.

My most recent favorite along these lines is Eat Cake by Jeanne Ray. The characters are great and the family relationships are just fantastic because of the challenges they face and over come together. The whole thing is just delicious. She also wrote Step Ball Change which is about family relationships, too, but I like the other one better. If you do decide to take my advice, let me know what you think.

Although it has lots of other stuff going on, White Noise by Don DeLillo deals with family relationships.

"A Spot of Bother" by Mark Haddon might be worth checking out. It centers mostly around the father, but his wife, son, and daughter, and their relationships with one another figure prominently.
